How did such a force for good become so distorted?
The world began a million years ago
A wondrous thing, long before our time
So how did it start? Think we need to know
Was it a God’s work or from big bang slime
Either way, humankind developed fast
From caveman roots through cultures manifold
We need to believe in God or something vast
Was He the Creator? or just a story told?
Religion, varied in nations of the world
Beliefs to guide a moral guide to all
Places of worship, wealthy riches to awe
Whatever happened to the moral call?
